Where faith and therapy come together to help you heal & grow.

Christian Counseling in Baytown, TX & online throughout Texas & Tennessee.

Are you walking through a difficult season and looking for support you can trust?

Christian counseling may be a good fit for you if:

  • Your faith is an important part of your life.

  • You want counseling that honors your Christian values.

  • You're looking for both practical tools and spiritual support.

  • You want to explore how your faith can help you to navigate life's challenges.

  • You'd feel more comfortable working with a counselor who shares your faith.

What is Christian Counseling?

Christian counseling combines evidence-based therapy with a Christian worldview. It offers a space to explore life's challenges with the support of both proven therapeutic approaches and the faith that guides your life.

For some clients, that may include discussing Scripture, utilizing prayer, or spiritual disciplines as part of the counseling process. For others, it simply means working with a therapist who understands and respects the role faith plays in their decisions, relationships, and healing.

When your faith matters to you, it can be helpful to view life's challenges through both a spiritual and clinical lens. Rather than choosing between faith and therapy, Christian counseling allows them to work together in support of your healing and growth.

Together, we'll explore practical strategies for concerns like anxiety, stress, relationship struggles, grief, or life transitions while also considering how your faith can provide meaning, direction, comfort, and hope.

You don't have to navigate life's challenges alone.

What to Expect

Christian counseling with me looks much like traditional therapy, with the added opportunity to incorporate your faith into the process when and how it's meaningful to you. You lead.

So, depending on your preferences, we may explore spiritual themes, discuss scripture and how it may apply, consider how your relationship with God is being affected by your current experience, or use spiritual disciplines like prayer to enhance your growth.

I listen. I seek to understand what’s bringing you to counseling and what you’re hoping to achieve. I want to know how you’re feeling and deeply empathize with your situation.

I guide. As an integrative therapist, I use a variety of therapeutic techniques and strategies from different methods to help you grow and heal. As a Christian, I understand the benefit of joining faith practices with those methods to feel steady and grounded in truth while doing it.

I encourage. Seeking help is hard. It takes courage and humility. I am in your corner, cheering on your growth and healing.

I pray. As a believer, I know that anything I’m able to offer as a therapist is because of God working in me. I pray for you; and if you desire it, I pray with you.
