Teletherapy

Teletherapy is counseling done through a secure online platform instead of in person.

Teletherapy is especially helpful with busy schedules as it allows for a session from the car on a lunch break, or during children’s naptimes. For more on the benefits of teletherapy, answers about the safety and security of teletherapy, and to schedule a free phone consultation, click below.

Rebecca’s approach

I believe that Jesus offers hope and peace in a tangible way through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, and through the reading of Holy Scripture. I also believe in the science that teaches us the incredible ways our brains and bodies process emotion and experiences. It’s not an EITHER/OR for me. I approach my work as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and as a Christian.

I don’t think Christian women should have to choose between living out their faith and getting effective mental health care. You can have BOTH.  For example, breath prayer provides spiritual connection to God AND calms the nervous system.  Confession and repentance of sin provides spiritual peace AND it dissolves cognitive dissonance that can create symptoms of anxiety. BOTH/AND.
